Large Format Photography
I use an assortment of cameras, digital for color photos and film cameras for black and white images. My favorite film camera is a Large Format 4x5 view camera, mounted on a tripod, viewing the image on the ground glass. Under the focusing cloth removed from the external environment, the scene to be photographed becomes a contemplative experience. The 4x5 inch negative has a smooth transition of tones, overall sharpness that provides a rich grain free print. There are many advantages to be had when using large format cameras.
